Treated a good friend for Sunday lunch, for her Birthday. Couldn't fault a single thing! Food was excellent & everything was very tasty. The staff are helpful and friendly. Location is stunning, asked for table overlooking the gardens, wasn't disappointed with view. Would love to stay there, from what I could see of inside house, it looks beautiful. Would highly recommend..... They do tea for 2 as well, which also looked amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The deluxe room was quite attractive and a good size. The bathroom was massive and luxurious. However, the bed was too soft and caused a back ache. The food was superb. Can highly recommend the venison saddle with blackberries. Delicious!
A truly 5 star experience! My husband and I were greeted by the very friendly and professional James on our check in yesterday. Hajar was extremely friendly in the bar and went to great lengths to make us the drinks we liked. The breakfast was superb with a great selection. We dined in the restaurant and were looked after by a lovely lady who was extremely professional. We will be back!
Gloomy, beige food, disinterested staff and my special request at dinner was not fulfilled ???? So disappointing - I wanted to create a special evening and overnight stay with my Mum before she went into the Freeman hospital for heart surgery. We arrived in the dark at 7.30pm, left in the dark at 6.45am and the overwhelming impression of the place was dark.... Could barely find our way to the front door from the car park and inside wasn't much better! The place could be so lovely - with a bit of effort, engagement and enthusiasm from the staff (and a few more lights????!)
Delightful hotel located in a very quiet area of Newcastle. Access to the city and its surroundings are simple due to very good road systems. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable with the needs of their guests a priority. Staff are attentive yet unobtrusive and rooms are supremely comfortable.
