A beautiful quirky little bar hidden in a side street in Newcastle town centre.. amazing decoration both up and downstairs full of interesting things for the eyes and dont forget to check out the cinema secret garden, a must see for all pub lovers......!!!! Great choice in drinks and food. Lovely friendly staff awaiting within.
Visitsd with a friend before concert at Newcastle City Hall. Very impressed with the decor, loved the dog pictures so cute. Such beautiful lighting as well. Menu was excellent such a wide choice. Excellent vegetarian selection. Had the bread, olives and pickles selection to share. Food arrived quickly, beautifully presented and delicious. They do a fantastic deal buy two large glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle for free which was a fabulous surprise. Definitely felt safe, would be good to go in on your own. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Dog friendly. Will be returning for Christmas menu. Highly recommended.
Delicious Sunday lunch. Generous portions. Home made Yorkshire puds. Friendly waiters. And dogs are made very welcome. Top rate venue. Very impressed.
Cozy place to go with friends. Fast service and friendly staffs We all order Sunday roast and it was delicous. Drinks was also great! The only downside was the dessert. Was way too dry and no one really enjoyed the pudding
Chose this restaurant for our work Christmas dinner. The upstairs seating was very good for 15 or so people. You had to order drinks from the bar which was okay when both the upstairs and downstairs bars were open. Although after the bar upstairs closed we were stuck in long queues to order from below. Dinner itself was very, very average. They forgot the roast potatoes on mine and a colleagues plate so we had to ask for them. The Yorkshire puddings were burnt and turkey was extremely dry….regardless as a group we had a nice time.
