The very best thing about Flares by a country Mile is Chloe. Of all the places I've been I have never had such a laugh and enjoyed such a warm personality. Honestly, you just want to keep her safe and wish her all the best. Good club, great staff (her in particular). Whatever you're paying her, pay her more. She's worth it. Buy a shot! Going to flares always means we’ll have a great night! Been going weekly since coming to university here and it never disappoints, especially having such lovely staff members including Zoe! Will definitely recommend and be returning!
Great night out while visiting friends in Uni, loved the music. Wonderful bartender Jess, she was very attentive and a pleasure to have serving us. Would definitely come again.
Following more than 5 years attending this venue, the change in door staff has significantly reduced the “fun“ in attending. A posture of superiority and power has taken over the door “staff” and turned a once fun venue into a poor environment where they feel power hungry. Even the police believed the “management” (a severe hypocrite that the Police agreed were exaggerating stories) were embarrassing to the establishment. Previous door staff were firm but fair, the new company are nothing but bully’s who believe they are in the right because they stand in a coat and bobble hat, their licences are barely credible and should be removed.
