This is the No1 club in Newcastle if not the best in the UK! Always a memorable, fantastic & energy filled night out! My permanent Saturday night night spot x Great friendly staff & I must point out the Door/security staff, your always welcomed with a smile & a chatter. Keeping us all safe, they are well managed & are always here to help you. I've been in many clubs throughout the years & the security here are the best!!! Much respect to them all!!! 6* Give this place a go, you may even get the rise bug like me ???? X
Appalled by my experience at Greys Club. As I’m sure you can guess by the multiple other complaints about the bouncers on this page, my main issue with this club is the inconsiderate and insulting behaviour of their doormen. I arrived at the club with my ticket for them to tell me it had already been scanned (this is impossible as I had not sent my ticket to anyone). They refused to acknowledge the possibility it would be an issue with their system and instead were rude to me, and showed complete indifference to this issue. I was immediately accused of “trying to get in for free” and they continued to go on to insult me for this “effort”. I asked to speak to the “boss” who only continued this disgraceful attitude. I won’t be coming to this club again, but I will be making it my mission to inform everybody at my university on how incompetent and rude the staff are.
Security staff are bullies absolutely no professionalism at all. Little intelligence and seem to enjoy intimidating customers. Clearly lack people skills and no respect whatsoever. Avoid this place .
Probably one of the better night's I've had in town, really cool bar and the night Rise or die was spot on, great selection of music in the different areas
I’m very unhappy with my experience at rise tonight. My friends and I were having a great time until about 3am when a security guard wrongly accused us of being aggressive and kicked us out. I’m extremely unhappy with his response and would like a response about what happened. This was completely uncalled for and would have been better handled than kicking us out. This is completely unprofessional and you will be getting a serious complement if the issue isn’t dealt with. “Tony” (as we’ve been told) was the name of security that wrongly accused us and kicked us out without letting us explain. We were dancing and accidentally elbowed him. Without letting us apologise and explain it was an accident, he tried to start a fight. We explained we didn’t want to fight and we’re just trying to explain what happened. We were still kicked out. I’m absolutely shocked by this behaviour. If they look at CCTV they’ll see there is nothing going on. I’m extremely unhappy about my whole experience
