This is a half decent Take Away. I have been going here since 2002. If your on the lash, starving and looking for some food before your taxi arrives. This place is for you.
I came in at like midnight demanding haddock because I was very drunk and I thought I was in the chip shop next door The guy was lovely from what I remember, and I've got no idea what he gave me, some kind of lamb and some cheese and chips and garlic sauce or something but it was honestly 10/10, can't complain
This place literally gave me dysentery. Thats not a figure of speech. I should have picked up on it when they prepared my food without gloves, without washing their hands, without a face mask. I've lost 7kg this past week and have been bedridden and off work because of them.
The place was better than I expected after reading the reviews and I usually deliver supplies here so I was expecting great food. The shop probably needs a bit of cleaning and more accessible seating as it was quite high up. The prices were also reasonable with good portion sizes of chips. I ordered a beef burger meal deal which I have ate for the first time and honestly it was great along with the chips. However, my friend didn't really like the burger so I guess it is up to your preference. The worker was very nice and allowed us time to chose what to order and didn't make a fuss unlike other takeaway workers such as Get Stuffed which is near this place. I highly recommend and will come here again to try out more things.
